Daniel writes: “I have been a passionate SCUBA diver since 1994 and have been fortunate enough to dive in some of the world’s most spectacular locations. Yet every year I see these once pristine environments degraded more and more – and even more.

I pledge to dedicate my entire life to envisioning and fighting for a sustainable world, as I have done for many years by participating in underwater cleanups and motivating most of my friends to discover the 70% of biodiversity located underwater – which keeps us humans alive.

This year on World Vasectomy Day (worldvasectomyday.org), I shall undergo this surgical procedure myself so as to never ever have children. Moreover I shall do my utmost to promote this event in spite of the great taboo surrounding the P-Word…
