Gayle wrote that “I am involved in environmental campaigns since I was a teen in the late 1970s. Since 2007, several of us at Temple Emanuel (TEEM) have been showing environmental documentary films with speakers on the topics and “action items”. A couple of years ago, TEEM hosted an event with John Seeger of Population Connection. The next year we showed the film “Mother: Caring for Seven Billion”. For the past 6 years, I have been on the board, and past president of the Yadkin Riverkeeper. I just completed my L.L.M. in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School where I graduated Summa Cum Laude.” She shared a Speak Out postcard online.
