Impact Narrative

Anneke’s idea for OVER:

“We are a volunteer group and have a stall at our local farmer’s market once a month. We sell our seeds and raise money for local environmental projects as well as food security awareness raising functions. Our membership is free and we have over 100 online members, but a larger contact base through our market presence. Apart from this we also have a related library for anyone interested in environmental issues raised at our stall.

At the end of the year Bega will hold a large field day which is a 4 yearly event at which many groups will be present, such as Permaculture, Soil Fertility, Energy and many more related groups. In the past we have also donated books to our local library (Bega Public Library) and would certainly do the same with ‘Over’.”
