Charles contacted us with a plan to share OVER with his daughter’s teacher:

“I am requesting two copies of the book. I would like to give them to Geoffrey Lake, my daughter’s high school Social Studies teacher. He is extremely aware of global inequality, and incorporates it into his curriculum. Two examples:

(1) My daughter’s Social Studies class organized a fundraising event to support Books For Africa.

(2) Last year her teacher organized a week-long trip to the Dominican Republic to give students a firsthand look at how people in a Third World country live.

I think that Mr. Lake would eagerly accept this book and bring it to the attention of his students, because it is 100% in keeping with his ethic of encouraging students to think globally.”
