Graeme’s proposal for OVER:
“I am trying to raise awareness about this enormous problem that so few people want to talk about. I have written a small hardcover book – it is called “IS THE WORLD FULL YET” – a layman’s view at that immense problem confronting the world – the problem of continual population increase on a finite planet. I plan to give 500 free copies away to educators, print journalists, columnists, politician, radio commentators and activists, irrespective of their political views. So far I have mailed off almost 100 to people ranging from an ex Prime Minister to conservationists, from skeptics to parliamentarians, from journalists to ‘shockjocks’. Your book could fit into this plan and be recommended as an item for purchase.
Closer to ground level, I am on a speaking circuit for clubs of retirees. These people are mostly over 60 years of age and (like me) although retired from business or professional life have a strong interest in what is happening in the world. I have appointments scheduled out to October on a fairly regular basis. It is at these presentations that I would use your ‘OVER’ book.”
