Impact Narrative

Professor Pérez-Zabala’s plan for OVER:

“I am a college professor in biology (and botany as well) and I am trying to raise awareness among students and colleges about the planetary tipping points we are reaching currently. Firstly, I am planning to share the main message about consequences of human overpopulation and actions we must initiate collectively in order to change this grimly route to the future, with undergraduate and graduate students in a public presentation in the main library and other more specific presentations with sophomore students taking intro bio courses which I am teaching. Then I will leave the copies in the two libraries we have in our campuses in a special stand in the main hall during some weeks and after that they will be incorporated in the reference section . Those libraries are serving 15.000 students plus 2.000 staff and researchers.”
