Mark writes, “Otford is a small village 50 km from Sydney CBD, surrounded by the Royal National Park and coastal fringe . The Royal National Park is the world’s 2nd oldest national park and Otford and its surrounds is a wildlife corridor for native species. Otford is constantly challenged by developers due to its proximity to Sydney. The Otford Protection Society a group of residents who have banded together to protect the fringes and waterways of the National Park . The books would be used as material to help educate via the local primary school , library and local fairs and festivals.”
