Rachel writes, “As a part of the Sea Shepherd onshore volunteer team I will distribute the books to my fellow volunteers and also to those who we speak with at local market days and other events (festivals/ music events etc). Alongside this I am part of a vegan and vegetarian community who whole heartedly believe and campaign for issues such as animal welfare alongside much more. These people are the ones who speak out to others and spread the word which is much needed in a campaign such as this. I run the social media accounts for our Sea Shepherd chapter and would love to have the opportunity to share my views on this publication to a mass audience. Living and working on the Great Barrier Reef we understand the issues that the Earth is facing, and how we contribute to nature and the future of the planet. I would really appreciate the opportunity to spread the word about overpopulation – I am currently reading the Future of Life by Edward Wilson so it is a topic extremely close to my heart.”
There are many ways to participate! Together, we can raise awareness and bring about change.
