Impact Narrative

Sally’s proposal for promoting OVER:

“At our Intermediate School, one of our school values is Kaitiakitanga – Caring for our Environment. As a school, the children learn what this value means, looks like, sounds like and how to demonstrate Kaitiakitanga as a Morrinsville Intermediate student and a human being sharing our planet. Kaitiakitangi is the theme of our topic, literacy and numeracy programmes this term. Your book would be a fabulous addition to our resources and would be on display in classrooms for all children and adults to read. We have just set up a new media suite at our school and the book and our theme could be developed by media students. We often have events at our school published in our local newspaper (available online as well) and the children have class blogs to share their learning, knowledge and skills with anybody they know around the world. A fantastic resource. We have been using pictures from your site as writing prompts and for class discussions.”
