Impact Narrative

Valentina’s proposal:

“I’m a recent Aquaculture Engineer, here in Chile, and we have the fish farm industry which has caused several enviromental problems. People aren’t aware of the significative ecological problem that has been accumulating during the past 20 years. It’s needed to get the children educated in this matter because they will probably follow our steps if we don’t tell them what we’ve been doing wrong. I’ve been working the last 3 years in the university where I studied; we usually bring kids of different ages to visit the laboratories and facilities for different species, and we are just showing them the nice part of everything. We need to get deeper and make awareness, starting from the little ones who will be there to make things different when we are not. Showing them the reality through the shocking pictures of the book will for sure turn the switch on.”
