Impact Narrative

Walter writes, “I am an adjunct professor at Mars Hill University in Mars Hill, NC. I am also a Holocaust survivor and as such I am frequently invited to speak in schools, such as middle and high schools, colleges and universities and education-related organizations. My association with the speakers bureau of the North Carolina Humanities Council is a further means for me to share important educational ideas with a relatively large number of folks in this state. If you approve my request for three of these books, I plan to inform my university department of the acquisition and encourage my fellow faculty members to encourage their students to become acquainted with the books’ contents. Needless to say, I will alert my students of the availability of the book as well. It is my hope that this will result in serious discussion and hopefully understanding of the urgency of action.”
