Impact Narrative

Adam writes, “I manage a very busy cafe in the University of Canberra and we go to great lengths to be as environmentally friendly as possible (ie. biocups, no milk bottles, recycling leftover food & coffee grind). Our customers are high ranked academics, politicians, and university students – the leaders of tomorrow –  and often engage in conversation with us about how we can be more sustainable.

I would display these books on our bench and tables, people would flick through them while waiting for a coffee and talk about it, and hopefully it will be enough to stop people from throwing their coffee cup in a lake or bush. My cafe is the perfect location for a book like this to be displayed, university students are interested in sustainablity, and it will be our actions that will effect our world.”
