Andrew’s OVER proposal:
“I am an Associate Professor of journalism at Borough of Manhattan Community College/CUNY and serve on the CUNY Journalism Discipline Committee; in addition, I teach Critical Thinking at New York University. I will share the books with my students and help them see connections they can make between the work of Global Population Speak Out and the other materials/resources we are studying that address issues of globalization, economics, politics, ethics, good thinking and healthy sustainable lives. Collaborating with my academic colleagues and students, I will encourage them to increase the number of articles they publish in the campus newspaper that address overdevelopment, overpopulation, and overshoot. And, in the literary community in which I participate, locally and internationally, I will document all of the above efforts. My recent manuscript is titled “A Great Blue Wet World of Thought,” OOO complements and confirms my work.”
