Impact Narrative

Brian is currently a senior at Buena Vista University.  His proposal for OVER:

“Your book Overdevelopment, Overpopulation, Overshoot has only inspired me more to bring attention to these issues that can/will change the places we call home, and the life of future generations if we continue on the same path. When it comes to change, we all know that it doesn’t happen over night, however, speaking out on topics that not only impact my life, but the worlds is something everyone needs to do. Having one or several of these books around my campus and hometown will bring several new topics about how we can tackle issues locally and worldwide. I plan on using these books to demonstrate to individuals what we are doing to the world, and document there responses. These responses will be one of the major resources used in creating a research presentation that will be presented in a seminar. Many times words don’t create the same impact on individuals that pictures do pictures. Using your book, I hope to bring rise awareness and bring forth change to issues that need to be controlled before it’s to late. Sharing this book with my professors, fellow students, and donating one to the Storm Lake Public Library, I hope to change the mindsets around town, organize movements, and create a new found love of our planet.”
