Impact Narrative

Colin’s proposal for OVER:

“As a teacher of Geography to boys ranging from 12-18 (Yr7 – Yr12) and as a member of the Geography Department at St. Kevin’s College, these books will become an important teaching and learning resource for not only the classes and boys that I teach but also other members of the Geography Department. I am also fortunate in that I am a Head of House, responsible for the pastoral care and well-being of 125 boys ranging from 16-18 (Yr10 – Yr12) and these books will be available for use by the boys in my House. If successful I will use these books to deliver the message during our weekly Tutor Time that we live on a precious resource with finite resources and unless we act soon to act sustainably, using what we have wisely, to ensure that there is plenty available for future generations, whilst not harming or degrading our environment in the process, we will find ourselves on the brink of extinction. Copies will be placed in the staff common room to ensure that all members of our college community are aware of the crisis facing our planet as a result of poor resource management.”
