Impact Narrative

Colleen wrote: “I am a professor in our university’s Honors College where I teach two courses on Sustenance and Sustainability and our Modern Food System. I would like to incorporate the book in both of my classes. My honors course on Sustenance hosts a public Facebook page by the same name. We would also feature the book here and encourage its sale. Finally, twice a year, in the fall and spring semesters, my students host a campus wide exposition entitled Sustenance and Sustainability where they feature their research on a wide range of relevant topics in order to raise awareness of humanity’s precarious future that is inevitable without a sea change in attitudes and practices. The book can be displayed and sales encouraged at this event.” She was rewarded 3 books.
