Impact Narrative

Dave wrote in that “We will send a book to the top journalists and op-ed writers whose work has appeared on the Wall of Shame at www.growthbiasbusted, as a gesture of goodwill and in an effort to help these journalists broaden their perspective about overshoot. We are combing through the posts now, and giving priority to journalists in order to whittle the list to 10.

“A few examples: Erle Ellis, who penned Overpopulation Is Not the Problem published in the New York Times Sept. 14, 2013. Adam Johnson, host of Bloomberg’s AJ’s Insight and Action, who made this statement about the easing of China’s one-child policy: ‘You cannot have this continued rise in GDP unless you have a similar gain in population. Population has also gotta go up. Remember, population means consumption; consumption means growth.'”

Speak Out sent him 10 books.
