David’s proposal for OVER:

“I work for the Economics department of a little but prestigious university called ‘College of Europe’; the university offers postgraduate studies in EU affairs and is well known for educating part of the future civil servants and policy makers of EU institutions as well as member states. Too frequently the education system puts a big emphasis on the need for growth but it is crucial to make students aware of what are the direct consequences of certain policy-making. My idea is to place two copies of ‘Overdevelopment, Overpopulation, Overshoot’ in Library of the College of Europe, one at the entrance lobby and one for consultation. Moreover, one copy would go for the bookshelf of the Economics department where we regularly held meetings and one for the Rector’s lobby, a where Ambassadors, EU officials, sponsors and policy-makers wait in order to meet the Rector.”
