Impact Narrative

Diana’s proposal for sharing OVER:

“I’d like to host a press event at the G2 Gallery, an award winning nature and wildlife photography gallery that facilitates change by bringing attention to environmental issues through the persuasive power of photographic art, for LA City Councilmember Paul Koretz’s motion to adopt the Singapore Biodiversity Index. The biodiversity alliance is crafting a motion for LA city to adopt the Singapore Biodiversity Index. The book would be a powerful tool to include in this event. Furthermore, the book will be a powerful tool for biodiversity alliance members who, include grass roots organizations and local scientists from influential institutions and organizations, to use as we meet with city policy makers to push for a “yes” vote on our motion. I regularly meet with policy makers in Los Angeles and Sacramento advocating for sustainability and the environment. I’m on the board of directors for a civic beautification organization, a member of LA City Councilmember Paul Koretz’s biodiversity alliance. and I’m continually involved volunteering for conservation, biodiversity and food policy organizations and causes. Protecting the natural world and fostering greater understanding of it’s biology and how that relates to things like food, climate and our own human biology is what drives me.”
