Impact Narrative

Gary’s proposal for raising awareness on OVER:

“I do a weekday radio broadcast called the Land Use Report. It plays during a local break during the morning “drive time” on KUSP FM, a Public Radio Station located in Santa Cruz, CA. You can see transcripts of the Land Use Report at kusp.org/landuse. My proposal is to advertise the Global Population Speak Out campaign during my Land Use Report, for one week, and ask for people listening to post their reactions on their social media site (Facebook, I would think, for the most part), and to send me a link to their posting. Then, I will do a random drawing of everyone who has done that, one day each week, and will then send the chosen person a copy of the book. Thank you for such a powerful set of images!”
