“I was shown your book from World View in Chapel Hill North Carolina. It is truly amazing. I thought I understood about world population and the needs of our children and the world, but I was wrong. I feel that the only way we can start a change in the thinking of people, especially people in the United States, is to teach them at a early age. I teach responsible actions with all resources to my 4th graders and being a Global school how our actions affect the world. This book brings these items to a real view for students to see. I have already used some of the pictures from the website to open up discussions on how we can change our actions, the actions of our parents/families. One class is wanting to contact local and state governments to promote changes in our communities. The pictures from the book has started a “fire” under my students and I feel that if they had access to the full book it would explode. They are asking more questions about why things have happened, how did it get to this point and what does it mean for their future. I hope I can receive a copy of this book for not only my students use, this book would travel up and down the hall reaching many classrooms.”
