Joshua writes, “I am a very eager and active college student who would use these books to their greatest potential. I am a part of multiple clubs which discuss and attend to social issues on campus, elsewhere in America, and, hopefully, worldly issues. In one club that I am in, I am allowed to host a Public Knowledge Series (PKS) and I would love to have the opportunity to host one myself on the worldly issue that Overdevelopment, Overpopulation, Overshoot discusses and displays. After reading the book online, I knew I wanted to further it’s reach and begin a serious discussion on my campus about how important ones environmental footprint is. It astounds me that people do not care about Earth, or that one can say they do care about our planet and then turn around and litter or not recycle recyclables. With these books, I would try to have my team to make an environmentally focused PKS and then distribute some at the event itself.”
There are many ways to participate! Together, we can raise awareness and bring about change.
