Impact Narrative

Katie writes to Speak Out: “I am an environmental engineering major and I want a way to be able to show people the urgency of the problem of the way we treat our earth and now it’s hurting our health and millions of others. It’s hard for me to convey the horrible things we’re doing to the environment through my words and constant Facebook posts, so this would help me spread the word of how serious this problem is. I want to show my peers and the people around my campus of California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo, CA the extent of the problem of climate change, pollution, extinction, and spread of disease and health problems that we are causing even if we don’t see the problems first hand.”
