Impact Narrative

Laura’s proposal for OVER:

“As a facilitator of the sustainability course ‘Living Smart’, I would like to request two copies of your amazing book to use as a resource within sessions (one for our regional courses, and one for courses based in Perth, WA). Subsidised by local government, our award-winning sustainability program guides participants over 7 weeks into behaviour changes aimed at reducing our impact on the planet and building community connections and resilience.

I would also love to receive a copy on behalf of our group ‘Transition Margaret River’ which is part of the global Transition Town Network. It would be gifted to the local public library, and to give it maximum exposure, I would aim to get newspaper coverage of the story. I would also feature the story via social media – for example our Transition Facebook page and other connected environmental groups (eg. Surfrider Foundation Margaret River, Margaret River Regional Environment Centre, Cape to Cape Plastic Free).”

Laura will be working with three books.
