Impact Narrative

Olivia’s proposal for promoting OVER:

“Our plan is to hold an exhibit at the Natural Bridge Hotel, located in Rockbridge County, Virginia, on June 29th, 2015. We have planned to print out 8-10 of the available photos from the book on a 3×3 posterboard with the URL of the campaign clearly posted on the pictures. We will also have a Powerpoint with information about the campaign, as well as a “Call to Action” about what we as global citizens can do to improve the conditions talked about in the book, including the concept of population control discussed in OVER. We are inviting 30+ influential policymakers to our exhibit. We have already distributed several copies of the book to Wall Street journalists, the director of the DEQ, and the Secretary of Natural Resources of the Governor’s office in Virginia, and were hoping for around 30 additional books for distribution at the exhibit to go to policy makers and directors, as well as some grassroots visitors to the exhibit. Our CEO is more than willing to create a detailed list of who received the books after the exhibit. We are also planning on having Eileen Crist come to the event to speak a little to the books message as well as VCLF’s mission and how it connects to the book. We would also be willing to provide pictures as documentation for the event for you to post to your website as far as social media outreach, as well as our own/our Facebook page if desired.”
