Impact Narrative

Rebecca tells Speak Out:

“I am a primary school teacher who specialises in outdoor learning/learning for sustainability. I work at a school within Midlothian Council (Edinburgh, Scotland). The books would be used as a teaching resource and would be shared within the school as well as within other schools in the cluster and council.

In addition, having just completed a masters in outdoor education with the University of Edinburgh, I have been asked to run an outdoor learning/learning for sustainability course for the University which will be delivered to student teachers this summer. This book would be a useful resource in illustrating the devastating effects worldwide of overpopulation and overconsumption, highlighting the necessity of education for sustainability, and the importance of the course in bringing these concerns to the attention of the younger generation.”
