Renzo’s proposal:
“Health Care Without Harm-Asia just launched this year a campaign called Healthy Energy Initiative, which examines the nexus of climate change, energy, and health in the Philippines. Issues surrounding population and sustainable development are deeply interlinked with these other cross-cutting issues. In the coming months, we will be organizing events and fora that will deliberate on these interconnected issues, and we hope to share these books during the said events. We will also create a social media campaign in which the attendees will pose beside the book and holding a poster calling for a more sustainable planet founded on the principles of fair, equitable and just development. These books will be an addition to our growing sustainable development and environmental health library, which is open to fellow advocates and students. Finally, we will send some copies to the head of the Philippine Population Commission, the Department of Health, and the Climate Change Commission, among others. We will document and come up with an article in our website regarding these handover events.”
There are many ways to participate! Together, we can raise awareness and bring about change.
