Impact Narrative

Stephanie’s proposal for OVER:

“I am a first grade teacher at Indian Trail Elementary School. I would like to share these books with the students in my class as well as students in classes on my grade level to help make them aware of the issues faces our planet’s sustainability today. Because the book features so many pictures, they will be great to start discussions with students who cannot read many higher level non-fiction/news texts. We can use this book as a jumpstart for non-fiction writing and reading units as well as persuasive writing units. Class discussions about local and global issues can be centered around this book. I am excited to receive these books into our school. They would be an excellent resource for us!”
