When Global Population Speak Out launched in February 2015, we had no idea how many educators would want copies of the book Overdevelopment, Overpopulation, Overshoot (OVER) to compliment their curriculum. An enormous demand for the OVER books came from primary, secondary, and collegiate level educators around the world. This indicates a large unmet demand for high-quality, visually engaging educational materials around the issues of sustainability, conservation, and human population dynamics.

There's still hope.

Although the problems are vast, solutions exist. To create change, it takes people speaking out, demanding the solutions be implemented. Together, we can create change -- and save the world. #SpeakOut

  • Global Population Speak Out is a project of Population Media Center, an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) organization that relies on the support of individuals, corporations, foundations and other institutions to fund its communications programs worldwide.
