Professor Robert Wyman, graduate of Harvard University and the University of California, Berkeley, is currently a professor at Yale University where he teaches molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. Much of his research has focused on neuro-genetics; in particular, the neurobiology of animal behavior. He has conducted research at Woods Hole Marine Biology Labs and Scripps Oceanographic. Professor Wyman also strongly advocates for attention to population growth and development as crucial world issues he believes his students need to understand. He considers population growth to be a major contributor to both human and environmental misery.
Professor Wyman has also led several expedition trips with Yale Educational Travel to the Amazon and Orionco Rivers, China, Antarctica and the Canadian Rockies where he is able to share his passion and knowledge of Earth’s natural beauty.
There are many ways to participate! Together, we can raise awareness and bring about change.
